FAQ

Questions and answers

Is the silver solid, or is it plated?
Solid, all the way through. Every statue we pour is .999 fine silver — 99.9% pure, the same grade as a government-minted bullion coin. It is the only grade we pour; there is no lower option to choose from. We do not plate anything.
Do I get the full weight listed on the label?
Always. The number on the label is the delivered weight of your statue in .999 fine silver. Order a 6 oz piece and 6 ounces lands on your scale. That weight and purity are stamped into the metal itself, alongside a serial number.
How long does a piece take, and why?
Four to eight weeks. Nothing sits in a warehouse — your statue does not exist until you order it. It then moves through eight stages by hand, in the order it was received: design, 3D printed master pattern, casting, refinishing, stamping, shipping. Molten metal cools on its own schedule. When a surge of orders comes in the queue gets longer, because the number of hands stays the same.
Can I track where my piece is?
Yes. You get an automatic email every time your order moves between stages, and a live eight-stage status bar in your account showing exactly where your statue is right now, with dates for each completed stage.
What exactly makes a custom piece 1-of-1?
Our designers build a 3D sculpt from your photographs. You approve it in writing. We cast it once — and then the design is retired permanently and never poured again for anybody. That is a custom commission, and it starts at $900. Catalogue pieces start at $199, are poured to order repeatedly, and are not 1-of-1. We will never blur that line.
What size should I actually order?
For most subjects, 6 oz is the honest answer — about 2.4 inches, which reads as a sculpture rather than a trinket. Roughly: 1 oz is 1.3 in, 3 oz is 1.9 in, 6 oz is 2.4 in, 12 oz is 3.0 in, 32 oz is 4.3 in. Detailed figures — dragons, warriors, superheroes — want 12 oz and up, because the detail is the point.
Are these officially licensed characters?
No. Every piece in our catalogue is original, independently created artwork — our own artistic interpretation of mythology, history, pop culture and customer requests. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or licensed by any brand, studio, publisher or trademark owner, and nothing we sell is official merchandise.
Is a silver statue a good investment?
We are not going to tell you it is. These are collectibles that happen to be made of precious metal, priced as collectibles rather than as bullion. We do not quote spot prices on this site because they move every day, we do not publish payout percentages, and nothing here is investment advice. If your goal is to own silver, buy a bar — it is cheaper per ounce and we say so on our comparison pages.
Will it tarnish, and what maintenance does it need?
Fine silver tarnishes considerably more slowly than sterling, but it is still silver. A soft dry cloth occasionally is genuinely the whole routine. Keep it out of a steamy bathroom and away from rubber bands, which are the classic silver-ruining household object nobody warns you about.
Can I order in solid gold instead?
Yes, on custom commissions. Gold is quoted individually against the market on the day you ask, because gold prices move daily and a number printed on this page would be stale by lunchtime. Gold orders ship fully insured via Malca-Amit or can be collected in person from our Fort Lauderdale vault.
How does it arrive?
In a presentation box, shipped fully insured with tracking sent the moment the label is created. Inside: your statue, stamped with weight and purity, X-ray tested, serial numbered, with its Certificate of Authenticity.
Who am I actually talking to?
A small family-owned team in Fort Lauderdale. We are a working precious-metal facility — we refine our own recycled silver and pour it ourselves — so a question about purity, casting or sizing gets answered by the people who do it. There is no marketing department to route you through.

Important information

Metal & Purity Guarantee — .999 Fine Silver

  • Every statue is hand-poured in the USA from recycled precious metal, refined to .999 before it is cast.
  • The stated weight is the delivered weight of the piece.
  • Purity is .999 fine silver, verified by X-ray testing before shipment.
  • There is one grade — .999 — on every statue, in every size. Sterling (.925) is no longer offered.

Sizing

Every statue is priced and sized by its silver weight — the heavier the piece, the larger and more substantial it is in the hand. Because each figure has its own silhouette and pose, exact dimensions vary by design. Quoted heights are approximate: a tall standing figure and a compact seated one can weigh the same.

Handmade Variation

As with all handmade and small-batch production, natural variation is inherent and unavoidable — it is a defining attribute of artisanal craftsmanship rather than a defect. Because of metal casting, material flow, finishing tolerances and the complexity of sculpted forms, the final piece may vary from the imagery shown. Images are visual references and are not guaranteed representations. Minor variance in surface and finish is expected and acceptable. Customers seeking absolute uniformity, mass-production tolerances, or exact replication of a digital rendering should not order.
